Memberships give you free admission to exhibits, free access to research materials, discounts on event tickets, and more.
The Kanabec History Center is member-owned and has been in operation at its current location since 1978. The site includes 37 acres along the Snake River with hiking trails, bike trails and picnic areas. The main building includes an exhibit hall, offices, banquet room, research library and archives. The Kanabec History Center has county newspapers on microfilm dating from 1884, with all of the obituaries, marriage, and birth records announced abstracted to a card file sorted by name. Without the Kanabec History Center, the photos, artifacts and documents housed here would not exist today. Your membership preserves the past for today and tomorrow. We're offering something new! You can buy yearly memberships that will automatically renew every year.
