​Exhibits & Events​

1906 Kitchen exhibit

Museum Exhibits

The main building includes exhibits on logging, medicine, Ojibwe winter camps, and a 1906 kitchen. Inside the Pole Building are exhibits on farming in the late 1800s and early 1900s, as well as reconstructed storefronts of a dentist's office, department store, and blacksmith's shop.

Our grounds include the Webster School (1889-1899), Coin School (1899-1970), Whittier School (1904-1963), replica Mora Fire Hall (1904), and Caboose (1950s).

​Visit our archives at the History Center for access to birth, death, and marriage records, copies of Kanabec County Times newspapers, plat maps, photographs, and more.

You can also visit our digital image collection at the Minnesota Digital Library online for free.
Banquet room with tables set up

Venue Rental

Our banquet room features a kitchen facility, air conditioning, accessible bathrooms, 11 tables, 53 chairs, a 58" Smart TV, and an 80" projector screen. 
​

The grounds include a fenced yard, picnic tables, and picturesque historic buildings.
