This self-guided trail consists of two loops that together equal approximately 3/4 mile in length. Most people can complete this self-guided tour in about 30 minutes. An informational map and brochure can be found inside the main History Center building.
Ticks can be found in long grasses and wooded areas from April to September. For your protection, wear long-sleeved shirts and pants in light colors. Lyme Disease, caused by bacteria carried by the deer tick, is common in the Minnesota/Wisconsin region.
